Document Drafting
Documents you can understand—and use.
For individuals, businesses, and organizations that need documents tailored to real-world use—contracts, leases, policies, and program plans that match how they actually operate.
What I do: Translate your goals and operations into clear written structures: contracts and leases, policies and handbooks, program and service descriptions, intake and consent forms, and other tools that govern how people work together. I review what you already use, spot gaps and hidden risks, and draft or revise language so it is both legally grounded and workable day to day.
What you get: Plain-English documents aligned with your goals, annotated drafts explaining key choices, and practical notes or checklists so you and your team know how to implement what we create. -

Litigation Risk & Preventive Counsel
Finding the cracks before a lawsuit does.
For business owners and organizations that do not want their first serious legal review to happen in discovery—who would rather find the weak points before an opposing lawyer does.
What I do: Use a litigator’s eye to “stress test” your contracts, policies, and recurring practices. I review how you sell, buy, hire, terminate, communicate with customers and vendors, and handle risk; look for the kinds of gaps and inconsistencies I would exploit if I were suing you; I and recommend concrete changes to documents and processes.
What you get: A practical risk-review report, annotated contract or policy edits, and a prioritized list of fixes so you can shore up weak points over time—instead of discovering them for the first time in a demand letter, lawsuit, or regulatory inquiry. -

Civil Litigation
When litigation is necessary, plan every step.
For individuals and businesses already in a serious dispute—or about to be—where letters, emails, and informal discussions are no longer enough.
What I do: Analyze claims and defenses, identify pressure points at each stage, and design a litigation strategy that treats court as a tool, not a spectacle. I draft and respond to pleadings and motions, manage written discovery and depositions, prepare for mediation and trial, and plan for appeal and post-judgment enforcement. I build your case—and dissect theirs.
What you get: A candid assessment of risk and cost, a step-by-step litigation roadmap, and coordination between settlement, trial, and enforcement so you understand how each move fits into the bigger picture. -

Estate Planning
Clarity for you and the people who count on you.
For families, caretakers, and business owners who want order—not uncertainty.
What I do: Wills, trusts (as appropriate), powers of attorney (medical and financial), advance directives, beneficiary and title reviews.
What you get: Documents tailored to goals; plain-English summaries; “what to do next” checklists. -

Negotiation
Negotiate from a position of strength.
For individuals and businesses facing a brewing dispute or high-stakes deal who want a deliberate plan—not off-the-cuff emails.
What I do: Review facts and documents, map leverage points, send and respond to demand letters, frame risk and damages, prepare you for calls and meetings, coordinate mediation strategy when appropriate, and draft or revise settlement agreements and contract addenda.
What you get: A negotiation plan with ranges and decision points, clear written communications, and documents that accurately reflect the deal you intend to make. -

Probate Support
Guidance through a difficult process.
For anyone needing steady, respectful help from start to finish.
What I do: Probate filings, estate strategies, executor/administrator counsel, claims management, heirship issues.
What you get: Court filings, timeline and task map, claim responses, closing documents. -

Mediation
Resolve the problem without feeding the fire.
For two or more people or businesses in conflict who want a structured, private process to work toward resolution without handing everything over to a judge.
What I do: Serve as a neutral mediator—not as anyone’s attorney. I help the parties identify the issues, clarify interests, manage communication, explore options for resolution, and reality-test proposals. During mediation I do not give legal advice or represent either side; I represent the process.
What you get: A focused, confidential mediation session (in person or online), time for both joint discussion and private caucus, and a written summary the parties can use—with their own counsel—to finalize an agreement or proposed court order. -

Outside General Counsel
Steady, practical advice.
For small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofits seeking consistent, local counsel.
What I do: Ongoing issue-spotting; leadership and board guidance; contract and policy reviews; compliance and records hygiene; meeting preparation and follow-up; vendor and employment questions; coordination with accountants, IT, and specialist counsel.
What you get: Regularly scheduled check-ins; concise advisory memos; prioritized to-do lists; a calendar of key dates (renewals, filings, audits); lightweight playbooks for key workflows; curated referrals when specialized help is warranted. -

Training, Workshops, & Clinics
Learn the “why,” not just the “what.”
For boards, leadership teams, startups, nonprofits, churches, HOAs, and community groups that value preventive education and clear next steps.
What I do: Research and present on the issues your team cares about, plus fundamentals in contracts, estate planning, and business law. Typical sessions include board and leadership trainings, new-owner boot camps, contract-terms demystified, “how to read your policy,” and practical compliance basics for small organizations.
What you get: Tailored slides; one-page primers and checklists; live Q&A; follow-up office hours; optional summary notes for attendees.
